I'm not sure why like this item so much, it's probably because it represents everything a well-made object should be, simple, durable and useful. I bought his eggbeater 36 years ago and it was old then. I found it at a second-hand store and something about it really appealed to me. Sundays are brunch days and I make my world-famous waffles from my grandmother's recipe. This eggbeater is de rigeur for beating the eggwhites to give the waffles the light texture for which I am justifiably famous. With a dollop of whipped cream, some fresh raspberries and Canadian maple syrup, they are beyond good and this eggbeater has been responsible for thousands of them over the years.
