Michael Drechsler Jewelry is pleased to be celebrating our 30th year in business. We thank all our customers for their loyalty and trust over the past three decades when we created precious jewelry heirlooms and memories for them.

Our expertise and dedication to quality continues as a top priority for all of our first, second or third generation customers. The incorporation of Michael Drechsler Jewelry Ltd in 1977 established us in Vancouver. Prior to business in Canada, we made and sold fine jewelry in New York in 1971. This was through the American Craft Council, where we displayed quality jewelry with jewelers like Glenda Arentzen and David Yurman. During this time, Michael obtained his university degree in Las Vegas, New Mexico completing a bachelor of arts which flavors many of his designs today.

In Vancouver, our first store was at 4th and Alma and was called "C. Drechsler Jewelry" after Michael's mother, Carol, who was the founder. Within three years the business expanded and moved to 13th and Granville. The name was changed to "Drechsler and Son Jewelers". The store was recognizable by the fabulous jewelry displayed in its showcase windows.

The next move was in 1984 to the Vancouver Block workshop at Granville and Georgia. We sold through our retail outlet in the Georgia Hotel on Georgia Street. Michael took the family tradition of fine jewelry design to new levels by being a finalist in the DeBeers Diamonds International Jewelry Design competition three years in a row.

In 1995, we became pioneers in Canada by transforming ourselves into a leading internet company. The main focus of the company became building custom designed jewelry sold internationally through the web site www.3Djeweler.com and locally in Vancouver by appointment. In addition, Michael Drechsler Jewelry developed an Internet website design business.

We specialize in making custom designed jewelry with our selection of Canadian diamonds up to 4.00 carats in size. We also carry created colored diamonds in intense yellow, vivid orange, blue and pink colors that enhance some of our jewelry designs. We design and sell a broad line of hand engraved gold signet rings and carved gemstone crest rings. The gold rings are hand engraved with traditional family crests or initials. Our stone carvers expertly carve on a variety of gemstones such as blue-grey sardonyx, bloodstone and lapis lazuli. These gems are set into heavy gold rings. These made in Canada products have been sold throughout the world.

Michael Drechsler Jewelry considers itself fortunate to have many repeat customers who trust our high quality jewelry and service. Many of our clients are celebrating their 20th, 25th, 30th and 50th wedding anniversaries. We are now designing and creating jewelry for them, their children and their grandchildren.
