When I was a lad, this reel was the most beautiful and precious thing I had ever seen. It was my Dad's reel which I was never allowed to use, so it seemed like an unobtainable object of desire. It's an Ambassadeur 6000 casting reel, made in Sweden sometime around 1960. After my Dad passed away, I discovered it in a box in the garage of my childhood home in Edmonton. As you can see it has some boat rash, but I stripped it down and cleaned it up. Now its mine but I have still never used it.
