This ladies, 14 Karat yellow gold, signet ring features a hand carved, blood red Carnelian gemstone. The cushion shaped carved gem measures 13 x 15 millimeters. The gem is carved with the Von Laue family crest. We also made a mans ring with the Von Laue crest carved in Blue Grey Sardonyx.

Carnelian: - reddish-orange to brownish-black in colour - an extremely hard gemstone excellent for hand carving - carves with clear definition and detail, with low contrast Carnelian is a variety of the silica mineral Chalcedony colored by impurities of iron oxide.
